October is said to be the perfect time to visit Vancouver - there’s very little rain, endless sunny days and the summer crowds have long-since left. Our Live Event with Marisa Peer will certainly keep you busy but if you want to extend your stay or plan a trip one evening, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
The city has a lot to offer visitors throughout the month. The crisp air and glorious fall foliage make a trip to the VanDusen Botanical Garden a must with its stunning fiery maple trees. Kitsilano is one of the region's most beautiful and popular sandy beaches - from there you’ll enjoy stunning views of English Bay, the Vancouver and the North Shore Mountains. There’s no better place to sit with a cocktail than at The Boathouse and watch the sun go down.
There are plenty of cultural attractions too. The Vancouver Art Gallery has over 10K permanent exhibits as well as one of the city’s best cafes. Fall is also when the city’s theatres debut their new season.
Bring out your inner child with a visit to Maplewood Farm to enjoy hot cider, pumpkins and all things seasonal. Don’t forget October is the month of Halloween and Vancouver’s Playland stages its Hallowed Eve - its carnival of curiosities is definitely not one for the faint-hearted.
